Yes, this is Lt. Horatio Caine from the TV show CSI:Miami. I know a lot of people don't like him but I love him to pieces and I've been wanting to do this portrait for a very long time...

I'm very much a new (in <3) fan of Horatio and CSI Miami.

I've been thinking about adding a portrait of Horatio to my list, but your amazing piece here is going to be hard to beat.

The portrait is excellent, though you should have put a little more defined background.

Horatio is one of my all time favorite characters, his one-liners could be the sole reason I watch CSI: Miami :D

Btw, any reason as of why has this deviation been viewed so few times?
I think it's really good and deserves more recognition :)

Thank you very much for the constructive critique. I usually avoid defined backgrounds because I'm afraid they might take away from the portrait but I might try it next time. :)

As for the number of views, thank you very much for your lovely comment and show of support. I'm thinking it could be because Horatio is a very controversial character. People either love him or they can't stand him and usually it's leaning more towards the latter... :shrug:
